Feelin' low, it's only three A.M.
Lyin' on my back, my mind's at dead end
My head's in the noose
And I gotta cut lose
Got nothing to lose
I pay my dues
Cigarette buds line the room
Trip on empty bottle that were finish'd too soon
Gotta call out
'cause there's no no-one on the phone
I'm losing my head all alone, all alone
Heard a lot talkin' about parisian men
Gonna cruise on 'em
Gonna catch me a ten
Gonna do it right
Gonna come on strong
Listen, miss american has been away too long
The walls start moving
And my mind's at the tune
If I blacked-out now
would it be too soon?
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Gonna get it right
If it takes all night
-And what did you do then?
-I turned on funny french program again on the radio :
Chacun fait, fait, fait
C'qu'il lui plaît, plaît, plaît !
- Hey, the end is out of sight!
L'précipice on s'en fout !
Chacun fait, fait, fait
c'qui lui plaît, plaît, plaît.
Toutes les étoiles qui brillent
- Anyone see with this good bar ? (?)
It's four in the morning
I'm feeling mean
Another "hou la la-s" gonna make me scream
Run a red light
I suppose I've drown
So I give a wink
And just keep on rollin'
One hundred - two hundred francs in hand
Hopin' to pay the price to the promised land
Double part on the combat zone
"Hé baby, qu'est c'qui s'passe ?"
I'm drinking my…
Tell me what's in store
Straighten up my act
To push open the door
3-4 man swept in a dance
Elvis lookalikes with their hands in their pants
Fine enough to take (?)
So, I sit all alone
When I see this guy my mind is blown
He says : Champagne ?
I say : Come Again ?
He says : …
I'm half way home
Hey, they' playin that same French strange song on the radio again:
Chacun fait, fait, fait
c'qu'il lui plaît, plaît, plaît !
Well, what is this "play, play, play", anyway ?
Personne te pousse à boire,
Chacun fait, fait, fait
c'qu'il lui plaît, plaît, plaît !
Oh Lord, he's so sexy
"- Hey, come a little closer"
Six A.M., cheap hotel
I pay - play it smooth
I finger my change
He starts to move
Velvet lips, rotating hips
I peel off my …(?)
I say : "Hey poppa, take me home"
Now
Like smoke to the floor
He blows in my hear
"Happy, cherie ?"
Footsteps in the hall
Can't get it all and all
Alone together with my lover for hire
Trace a line on his back
As I search for the fire
He turns his head
Now, I face his face
That's telling me that he lost the race
Twisted in the sheets
He can't keep up the beat
He says : "it's time"
I said : "what time?"
Hey, can anybody speak English in this joint?
Chacun fait, fait, fait
c'qu'il lui plaît, plaît, plaît !
Someone must be looking after me
Sous tes pieds, y'a l'enfer !
Chacun fait, fait, fait
C'qu'il lui plaît, plaît, plaît !
My God, he couldn't get it up
- it's time to sleep, would you please shut up!
I'm a little uptight in the morning light
Just another come and gone parisian night
Hustler on the corner
Look for his morning score
Give a little wink to Mister door to door
In the Champs Elysees I'm taking air
The phantoms of the night can't touch me there
Look in the mirror, start to clean my face
I got Midnight Shadow all other the place
Madame pipi
A des ennuis,
Monsieur papa
S'fait du tracas.
Dans les logis
Des mal lotis,
Bébé vomit sa bouillie
Feelin' low, it's only eight A.M.
Lying on my back, my mind's at dead end
My head's in the nose
I gotta cut lose
Nothing to lose
I pay my dues
Cigarette buds line the room
Trip on empty bottle that were finish'd too soon
…

I've got the words somewhere in the back of my closet. Will try to dig them out for you.
It still sounds fresh to me. Brings back memories!
