Présentation : Avantasia est un super-groupe formé par Tobias Sammet, le chanteur et leader du groupe Edguy (déjà présent dans la base avec la reprise des gendarmes). Sammet a entièrement composé cet album concept sur lequel on trouve pléthore d'invités comme Andre Matos, Kai Hansen, Bob Rock, Timo Tolkki ou encore et surtout l'idole de Sammet: Michael Kiske, ex-chanteur de Helloween. Titre ouverture du premier album d'Avantasia, reach out for the light remporte toujours un franc succès auprès des fans grâce au duo Sammet (Gabriel)/Kiske (Lugaid).
