J'adorais le nom du groupe : ce titre ressemblait moins à du Duran Duran par rapport à leurs autres succès ("Down on earth", "Name & Number") (morphee, le 02/01/2005 à 22:36:54)

En tout cas je confirme la présence d'Andy Warhol dans un de leurs clips, pompé sur celui de Dylan "Subterranean homesick blues" (ploum la chenille, le 17/01/2005 à 11:25:55)
Le premier album, "Keep the Distance", est rien moins qu'une mine de pépites. Rien à jeter. De la super bonne pop aux accents soul, un peu dans la veine de ce qu'avait réussi Wet Wet Wet avec leur premier album (à peu près à la même époque d'ailleurs). Le 2e et dernier album, dans lequel figure "Name and Number", est plus anecdotique. Je me souviens que le chanteur, Ben Volpelière-Pierrot, au moment où le groupe a explosé en Angleterre (86), a mis à la mode ce curieux chapeau qu'il portait toujours, en fait une casquette de marin grec. On en trouvait à Londres pendant un moment. En 93 ou 94, alors que j'étais précisément à Londres, j'ai croisé un des musiciens du groupe, Julian, au marché aux puces de Portobello. J'ai failli l'aborder pour lui demander ce qui était arrivé au groupe, mais je n'ai pas osé. Sur le net, j'ai cherché il y a quelques mois, mais on ne trouve quasiment rien.
