Présentation : Titre issu du premier album de Metallica.
Motorbreath est la seule chanson dans l'histoire du groupe qui soit créditée à James Hetfield uniquement.
C'est un hommage au groupe de heavy metal britannique Motörhead
C'est la plus courte des chansons sur un album studio du groupe avec 3 minutes 8 secondes.
Enfin, c'est l'une des deux chansons pour lesquelles le batteur du groupe, Lars Ulrich, n'est pas crédité (l'autre chanson étant Anesthesia (pulling teeth) qui figure aussi sur Kill 'Em All -Et qui est aussi dans la base-).

… Je ne savais pas qu'il y avait eu pressage français chez "Bernett Records" : mon exemplaire est la version "Music For Nations", jadis achetée chez Jukebox dans le XIVè à la sortie de cet album historique…
