In World War II the average age of the combat soldier was 26…

In Vietnam the combat soldier typically served a twelve month tour of duty but
was exposed to hostile fire almost everyday

Hundreds of Thousands of men who saw heavy combat in Vietnam were arrested since discharge Their arrest rate is almost twice that of non-veterans of the same age.
There are no accurate figures of how many of these men have been incarcerated.
But, a Veterans Administration study concludes that the greater of Vets
exposure to combat could more likely affect his chances of being arrested or convicted.

This is one legacy of the Vietnam War

Vet often arrived home within 48 hours of jungle combat
Perhaps the most dramatic difference between World War II and Vietnam was

Many vets complain of alienation, rage, or guilt
Some succumb to suicidal thoughts
Eight to Ten years after coming home almost eight-hundred-thousand men are
still fighting the Vietnam War

Paul Hardcastle, un pionnier de l'electro .. écoutez plutot ses titres 82/82, comme Rainforest ou encore les titres qu'il a réalisés pour son groupe First Light (explain the reasons) .. (bold_air, le 06/02/2003 à 19:24:26)

Ce titre était une véritable TUERIE quand il est sorti, mais Paul Hardcastle étant avant tout un intellectuel (voir ses albums 'Paul Hardcastle' et 'No Winners') totalement dénué de charisme, le bonhomme a sombré dans l'anonymat en France, alors qu'il reste connu (j'ai pas dit célèbre) outre-Manche. Pour les curieux, il a depuis bossé sur le score de 'SpiceWorld - le Film' (eh oui !), et, plus intéressant, sur le long-métrage d'animation 'When the Wind Blows', où il partage le score avec Roger Waters, David Bowie, Genesis… (Switcher, le 20/03/2005 à 15:40:56)

et son 45t suivant "just for money" a fait un bide complet en France après nineteen,pourtant c'était pas mal du tout!.avec les voix de Sir Lawrence Olivier et Bob Hoskins,j'ai pas mal aimé à l'époque!.(et j'aime encore).
