Présentation	La première interprète de cette chanson fut Lori Lieberman en 1971, dont Charles Fox et Norman Gimble ont mis en musique un de ses poèmes, "Killing me softly with this blues", mais c'est Roberta Flack qui l'immortalisa en 1973. Nombreuses covers (parmi les plus fameuses Sinatra, Luther Vandross, Aretha Franklin, Tori Amos…), dont celle des Fugees en 1996. Interprété en français par Gilbert Montagné.
