La chanson "Lonesome traveller" a été créée par Gordon Jenkins accompagné des Weavers et reprise en français par Long Chris et les Cowden sous l'intitulé "Je suis un cavalier solitaire".
La version norvégienne a été interprétée par Halvdan Sivertsen alors qu'en grec, The Olympians ont chanté "To sxoleio".
Parmi les reprises, notons celle des Tarriers, celle de Lonnie Donegan, celle du Kingston Trio, mixée avec "Shady grove", le succès des Prairies Rambler, celle de Trini Lopez, celle de Marianne Faithfull, celle de Roger Whattaker, celle des Travellers ou, en 2007, celle de Simon Crashly and the Roadmasters.
