Paroles

Listening
After all the years I would not hear, I'm listening
As I'm lookin' into eyes so clear and deep,
I see, the story comin' together
Chapters end and start again…

Listening
To the only one who undestands the man I am
With love enough to let go of the past
I ask, and all my wrongs are forgiven
I can do the same for you

If you
Listen to my eyes
Listen to your heart
Never let the world's noise
Get louder than your own voice

Listen to my touch
Then touch the way you feel
You only hear
What is real

By listening
Like the mountain lets the ocean slowly move him
Or the way that your body's moving mine
In time, this dance will go on forever
Without a sound, we turn around…
Listening

Listening
After all the years I would not hear, I'm listening
As I'm lookin' into eyes so clear and deep,
I see-the story comin' together
Chapters end and start again…

Listening
I know in time this dance will go on forever
Chapters end and start again

J'ai toujours trouvé qu'il chantait mieux en anglais qu'en français. Ses chansons dans la langue de Shakespeare ont un souffle Hard rock FM pas déplaisant tandis que ses ritournelles en français sont d'une fadeur sans nom.
