Je connaissais « Can't take my eyes of you » comme tout le monde, vu combien ça a cartonné en Europe et que ça reste un des tubes incontournables du disco, mais pas cette tuerie, qui fut apparemment leur plus gros tube aux États-Unis. Enfin, dans certains milieux, je suppose, vu les paroles !
Cet excellent morceau commence par nous vanter les joies de la drague homosexuelle, puis nous transporte devant une boite, où deux jeunes gens se racontent leurs rencontres de la veille, puis une rencontre échoue (l'un des deux garçons cherche un truc vraiment spécial), et enfin, deux messieurs se mettent à faire des choses que le Vatican réprouve en dehors du mariage, sous le regard intéressé d'une prostituée, mais des flics arrivent et violent tout le monde… Ma doué, ils n'avaient pas froid aux yeux, à l'époque !
Le plus triste est que cette chose est sortie en 81, l'année où on va découvrir que ces petits plaisirs innocents étaient loin d'être sans risque…
