Elmo Shropshire est un chanteur-vétérinaire américain né le 26 octobre 1936. Il a enregistré la première version de "Grandma got run over by a reindeer" avec son épouse Patsy en 1979.
Le Dr Demento, de son vrai nom Barret Eugene "Barry" Hansen, est né le 2 avril 1941 à Minneapolis. C'est un animateur de radio connu pour avoir diffusé les disques les plus improbables sur la station radio de Los Angeles KPPC-FM, la grand-mère de Bide & Musique.
