Si on en juge les films (Priscilla folle du désert, Muriel…) ou les dérivés musicaux (comme ce "Björn Again" dont le nom d'abord inspiré par le claviériste Björn Ulvaeus évoque également la nostalgie d'un autre suédois, tennisman, au succés contemporain à celui du groupe), l'Abbamania australienne, surtout dans les années 1990, est un sujet intéressant à étudier. On trouve un minimum d'explication en cherchant un peu avec la tournée triomphale du groupe en Australie en 1977, mais ça n'explique pas tout…
