Une voix pas à la hauteur et une prononciation anglaise pire que scolaire, des guitares remplacées par du synthé à 2 balles, une base rythmique imitée par une boite, tout était réuni pour produire une catastrophe sonore ! Et au moins, la cata est réussie . . .

La chanson "Hotel California" des Eagles a été adaptée en français sous le même intitulé par Shuky & Aviva.
Une autre version française sous le titre "L'hôtel de Californie" a été chantée par The Cat Empire, tandis qu'une parodie, "Hôtel Commissariat", est interprétée par Gomez & Dubois.
Une mention spéciale pour la version de Vincent Malone.
Deux parodies religieuses ont été réalisées, "Hotel can't afford ya" chantée par ApologetiX et "Oh come Emmanuel", chantée par December People. En allemand, la chanson est interprétée par Jürgen Drews et par Stefan Hallberg alors que "Festung von Gorleben" est chanté par Fred Ape.
En finnois, devenue "Koivu ja tähti" la chanson est interprétée par Seppo Nähri et sous l'intitulé "Hotelli helpotus" par Eläkeläiset.
En italien "Nell' hôtel California" est chanté par David Esposito. Une version en kabyle est chantée par Oulahlou et une en arabe est interprétée par Farhad Besharat.
Deux versions tchèques sont interprétées par Jiří Korn et par Jakub Smolik.
Une version japonaise "ホテル・カリフォルニア" est chantée par タンポポ et une autre par Chisoto.
