La chanson "Running bear" de Johnny Preston a été adaptée en français par les 5 Rocks le titre "L'ours gris" et par Beric Laquerre sous l'intitulé "P'tit ours qui courre".
En danois, "Tapre Ørn" est chanté par les Four Jacks, alors que "Tapre Bjørn" est interprété par Peter Belli et que "Hugget sukker" a été chanté par Bamses Venner.
En néerlandais, "Grote beer" est chanté par le Het Coctail Trio tandis qu'une autre version, avec des paroles différentes, est chantée par Normaal.
En allemand, "Brauner Bär und weiße taube" a été interprété par Gus Backus puis par Rumble on the Beach.
En limburgish ou limburgan, FietseFreem chante "Groete beer".
La parodie "Runnin' bare" a été interprétée par Jim Nesbitt et par Ben Colder.
