La chanson "M.T.A. (the Boston subway song) a été créée par Will Holt et est dérivée de la chanson "The wreck on the Southern Old 97" par Henri Whitter, elle-même inspirée du titre "The ship that never returned" qui date de 1865 et dont le premier enregistrement est celui de Vernon Dalhart en 1925.
La chanson "The wreck on the Southern old 97" fait référence à la catastrophe ferroviaire survenue le 27 septembre 1903 à Stillhouse Trestle, Danville, Virginia.
Ces deux derniers titres n'ont, à ma connaissance, jamais été adaptés en français.
Le dernier enregistrement de "The ship that never return" est celui de Tom Roush en 2015 alors qu'en 2017, Corbin Hayslette a enregistré "Wrek of the old 97".
