Le son (assez plat, sans basse ni aigu) me faisait penser à un groupe américain des '70s, alors que, sauf erreur, ce groupe était anglais et produit par George Martin (Beatles). Assez insipide, non ?

en ce qui me concerne, je considère ce morceau comme un véritable chef-d'œuvre, l'ambiance est formidable, la symbiose musique et voix est subtilement évocatrice.

Ce groupe est bien… Anglais !
Mais pas insipide : Il y a d'autres morceaux d'anthologie hormis celui-ci : Ventura highway par exemple, ou encore Muskrat love.

Insipide ? J'ai grandi avec ça dans les oreilles. Pour moi, ça ne l'est pas. Une superbe chanson dans laquelle, grâce au rythme hypnotique, on se sent en plein désert sous le cagnard, c'est bien rendu.

Horse = drogue , c'est plutôt la description d'un trip années '70 ! Le disque a été interdit sur certaines radios à cause de ça.
